This deeply sacred ceremonial dance is typically performed exclusively on the reservation. Join us for this special presentation and watch the masked mountain spirits, or “Gaan,” from the San Carlos Apache Nation, located in the White Mountains of Northern Arizona.
All Day | Holiday Crafting & Festive Afternoon Baking, Camp Coyote
Children registered in Camp will participate in seasonal crafting in the morning session and holiday baking in the afternoon. Be sure to join us!

Experience silversmithing by local Yavapai-Apache artist, Matagi Sorenson, and have an opportunity to purchase his art in The Marketplace Shop. Matagi’s unique contemporary silver designs offset by local turquoise and precious stones create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.

Tap into the joy of the holiday season in this non-traditional painting class. You will create a unique masterpiece to take home and display! Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Ages 12 and over are welcome.

Try your hand at creating a gingerbread house with your family and friends while tasting (and decorating) yummy gingerbread cookies. Please sign up with the Concierge as space is limited.

The Polequaptewa family from the Hopi Mesas will demonstrate how they create their traditional Kachina dolls and regalia. Carving the dolls, mixing the special minerals and painting will be shared as well as the intricate and beautiful embroidery and stitching displayed on their ceremonial clothing.
4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. | Native Voices, Mii amo Fireplace (Ages 16+ only)
Experience the amazing journey of Aaron White, a Grammy-nominated musician and flute carver, as he is introduced to the cane flute and grows to become a world-wide phenomenon and Native American Music award winner. His tale includes the handing down of this Native American tradition and knowledge to his son, Lathaniel and how it has changed both of their lives.

Festival of Lights – The Lighting of 6,000 Luminarias –3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
This treasured Sedona tradition features a visit from Santa, lively musical entertainment, complimentary hot apple cider and the lightening of 6,000 luminarias, the perfect evening outing for friends and family to enjoy the holiday spirit. Design your own luminaria to honor cancer survivors and help light up Tlaquepaque’s walkways and courtyards.

Join the Sedona Arts Center as they celebrate their 60th Anniversary with a spectacular light event. For four days only, the country’s largest 3D holiday light show will light up Sedona’s dark skies and breathtaking landscapes. Shows can be viewed throughout Uptown Sedona and Gallery Row
