Director of Restaurants, Nicole Cook and Enchantment Mixologist, DaNelle Swensen are sharing recipes for the resort’s favorite seasonal libations below, all of which are sure to put you and your holiday guests in great spirits.
Sedona Fire & Ice
A fantastic and well-balanced combination of zest and warmth. The mid-palate from the habanero is offset with the freshness of blood orange. The cinnamon sugar on the rim cuts through the heat perfectly, creating a festive flavor that will leave your guests wanting more.
1.5 oz Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila
1.5 oz Housemade Habanero Agave Nectar
2.5 oz Fresh Squeezed Blood Orange Juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into a margarita glass rimmed with cinnamon & sugar. Garnish with a blood orange wheel.
Ginger Pear Martini
Fresh pear and ginger juices enhance the natural flavors found in Pear Vodka. A hint of sweetness from the St. Germain liqueur adds a pretty floral dynamic to this wonderful martini. Curl up by the fire as you sip this mildly sweet and delectable cocktail.
2 oz. Grey Loose La Poire
.5 oz. Stirring’s Ginger Liqueur
.5 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
.5 oz. Fresh Pear Juice
Dash Fresh Ginger Juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass.
An approachable whiskey drink for the non-whiskey drinker. Subtle sweetness from the spiced honey and apple juice balance to this smooth whiskey cocktail, without overpowering the distinct rye flavor.
2 oz. Thumb Butte Rodeo Rye
2 oz. Fresh Honeycrisp Apple Juice
1 oz. Housemade Spiced Honey
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a large lemon twist. Can also be served as a hot drink.
